Who I am

This website, constructiontechnology.ie, is run by Trevor Hickey. I am responsible for the personal data collected through it. You can contact me at trevor@constructiontechnology.ie.

What I collect

I only collect what you type into a form on this site:

• The poster form: your first name, your email address, your school (if you give it), and whether you tick the box to receive emails.
• The "Register your interest" form: your name, your email address and your message.

Why I collect it

• To give you the downloads you asked for, or to reply to your message.
• To send you occasional emails about new Construction Technology resources and the textbook — only if you tick the box. I rely on your consent for this, and you can withdraw it at any time.

I will never sell your details or share them with anyone for their marketing.

Where it is kept

This site is hosted by Squarespace, which stores form entries on my behalf. Squarespace's own privacy policy explains how it protects data, including any transfer outside the European Union.

How long I keep it

I keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. If you did not tick the box for emails, I keep them only as long as I need to answer you.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Every email I send has an unsubscribe link, or you can simply email me. If you are not happy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

Squarespace sets some cookies so the site works and so I can see how many people visit.
